we learn, try, and make stuff
Son (6 years old) and father (old dude) team in Singapore building lots of math and science related projects; we are trying our best to document everything, including where exactly in Sungei Road you can buy brass fittings to make rocket nozzles.
We are NOT a registered company with a registered address or anything like that at all. We don't even have anything to sell to you (and no, we do not sell our rockets; you make your own!). We are just online to share with you all the strange stuff we do so that you may hopefully want to start doing similar things with your children.
We do have a FaceBook group, but membership is closed for now due to privacy and security concerns; just drop us a request should you wish to join us :-) Just be aware that all activities are organized in Singapore for now, so you should be living here (well, Pulau Ubin or Johor Baru is still okay) to join us in real life.
some points:
- this site is all about projects. we make things. and then we try to provide all the links and resources for you to do more on your own. once in a while we organize activites IRL involving kids, rockets, cannons or boiling water.
- try anything you find on this site, plus referenced stuff, at your own assumed responsibility and risk.
- while some of the stuff you see here may seem dangerous, we DO use protective gear, including child-sized gloves, ballistic googles, etc. I am also an emergency first responder, and we are never more than 5 metres away from a well-equipped first aid kit.
- after a lot of thought, this site was created for friends who wanted to share the Danger Bears content beyond the security confines of Facebook. so i really hope you guys enjoy watching what we do, but more importantly, try these stuff safely at home!
